Friends of The Beeches

Friends of The Beeches School (FOBS) is an established group of parents, carers and staff with an objective of raising funds to enhance childrens’ lives, and improve their life skills through the provision of new learning experiences, making a positive contribution to their education.

FOBS work with the school in searching for resources for projects needed by the children, but would not necessarily come in under the school budget.

We are looking for parents/carers and/or community members to build a stronger community spirit, who could spare some time to join the FOBS group. If you are interested please contact us on office@beechescps.org.uk or at the school office.

On Friday 26th September The Friends of Whitton School held a Coffee morning to raise funds for the MacMillan Cancer Nurses.

We were joined by many parents, local residents and staff who took the opportunity to buy a cup of tea/coffee and sample some of the delicious cakes we had on offer. We were also joined by two of our local councillors.

We also held a raffle and had members of the North West Ipswich Big Local Trust present to inform and advise residents about their work within the community.

A good time was had by all and we managed to raise an amazing £492.00
