Curriculum

At The Beeches we pride ourselves on our curriculum. 

Our school values are Excellence, Empowerment, Engagement and Equity. 

In each year group, children’s learning is organised under a broad topic or theme with a termly essential question.

English, Maths and Phonics are typically stand-alone lessons but are linked to the theme where possible.  

Third Space Learning and White Rose support our maths curriculum.

The Power of Reading supports our English curriuculum. 

For the wider curriculum, we use Cornerstones. Cornerstones is a connected and sequenced curriculum designed to support children's progress over time.
